SAW LEAF BANKSIA

Belonging to the Protea family these frost hardy banksias have huge, silvery yellow flower cones from winter to spring and attractive, serrated, leathery leaves. This tree (up to 10 metres tall ) grows well in poorer soils and provides many native birds with large seed cones. A useful windbreak and salt tolerant plant, it is often found in coastal areas.
