This fast-growing Australian native shrub grows to 2-metres. In summer and autumn brilliant purple-blue flowers with prominent yellow stamens provide colour amongst the deeply lobed, green leaves. The decorative egg-shaped fruit turn from green to yellow to orange as they ripen. The fruit can be eaten only when ripe. An easily grown plant for a warm, protected position in full sun to half shade and moist, well-drained soil. Not to WA. 30 seeds.
