Spinach
A reliable green that allows you to harvest throughout the year. Use as you would normal spinach or silverbeet. A great winter green for your chooks as well. Technically not a spinach or perennial!! It is a member of the beetroot and silverbeet family and while not perennial it crops for a well over 12 months, just keep cutting off the seed head. 120 seeds.

It is consistently the last to bolt to seed during summer in our trials. A smooth leafed spinach that can be eaten raw or cooked. Harvest leaves as needed or the whole plant. New Zealand spinach also called Warrigal Greens is a good summer variety, but needs a more protected position being frost tender. In deep fertile soil this long stemmed type of leaf vegetable will produce high yields, and it will tolerate warm and coastal conditions. Salt tolerant. 25 seeds

An annual vegetable mainly grown in spring and autumn, rapidly running to seed in hot weather. It needs fertile, rich, limy soil in a sunny or half shady position. Raw or cooked spinach is high in iron and an excellent source of vitamins in spring and autumn. 250 seeds.
