One of the most popular chillies from Peru. Prized for the medium flesh with a rich, smokey flavour making them great for BBQ sauces, soups, stews, grilled or stuffed. The perfect chilli for making Mexican Mole. The pods have a moderate heat level, turning from light green to dark brown when ripe and are tapered to 10 cm long and 3-4 cm wide.
