Take your Asian stir-fries and soups to another level with this thick-stemmed Chinese broccoli. ‘Jade’ is a slow bolting variety with large green leaves and fleshy stems. Young flower buds can also be harvested and used in your meals. Pick stems before flowering for continuous use. Used extensively in SE Asia where it is also known as Chinese kale, gai lum, gai lan, kol, kai lan, phak khana, cai ro. 250 seeds.
Sowing Instructions
Sow direct into soil & keep moist. Sow every 2-3 weeks for continuous harvest. Pull plants for compost/chooks once flowers open.
