Glass Mountain Corn is a vibrant multicoloured maize producing stunning cobs with a bedazzling array of colours. Plants reach up to 3 m tall and yield multiple cobs each. A true ‘flint’ corn with hard, glass-like kernels, perfect for popping, grinding into cornmeal, or as an ornamental showpiece. Harvest when husks are fully dry for the best colour and quality. 40 seeds.
Sowing Instructions
Sow direct once weather/soil has warmed. If soil is cool, start in pots, keep moist & warm (18˚C+ needed to germinate). Plant out when 5cm tall. Do 2nd sowing 2-3 wks later to extend harvest. As wind pollinated, plant >10 plants in blocks for good cob formation.
