An unusual fruit with a sweet pineapple flavour that’s jam packed into a ground cherry. An annual ground cover producing large amounts of 3cm fruit encased in papery husks that kids love to unwrap & pop straight in their mouth. Use on cheese platters, pizza, in jams, pies & salsa. Harvest when ripe (brown husk & have fallen to the ground). Related to Cape Gooseberry and Tomatillo. 25 seeds.
