Chrysanthemum maximum
A fun daisy with long lasting double and semi-double white flowers. A hardy perennial that grows to 80 cm. Makes a great border plant with healthy growth of toothed oblong leaves and a mass of flowers. Makes an outstanding cut flower due to good vase life and medium stems. Handles most soils in full sun or part shade. About 30 seeds.
Sowing Instructions
Sow direct to garden after frosts or into pots to transplant once frosts have passed. Cover seed thinly and keep moist at temperatures around 20˚C. Slugs love seedlings so provide protection. Prune in spring to keep its shape.
