Brassica oleracea
A Chinese favourite, also known as Chinese Broccoli. A leafy stem vegetable harvested whole, with or without the young succulent budding flower heads. A versatile vegetable that can be eaten raw, steamed or stir-fried. While it is cold hardy and loves cooler weather it can be grown through summer, just harvest earlier. Thicker stems than choi sum. Pick stems before flowering for continuous use. 200 seeds.
Sowing Instructions
Sow direct into soil & keep moist. Sow every 2-3 weeks for continuous harvest. Pull plants for compost/chooks once flowers open.
