An usual and exquisite coloured flower adorns this cottage garden favourite. During spring and summer, this delightful perennial bears an abundance of 2m tall spikes covered in finely segmented, single deep maroon/ black flowers. Prefers good soil, plenty of sun and a protected position. Looks beautiful along fences or in bold groups in large beds. 25 seeds.
