NATIVE HOP BUSH
Dodonea viscosa
This native Australian hop bush is a fast-growing shrub that grows to 3-4m. Its shiny, green leaves and attractive clusters of papery, purple-bronze fruit capsules in spring and summer make it a delightful specimen plant. The flowers attract moths, butterflies and other native insects. Drought resistant, salt tolerant and frost hardy, for a well drained position in sun or part shade. Not to WA. 50 seeds.
