The ultimate giant pumpkin! Big Max produces impressively large fruit, normally 40-50cm in diameter but up to 220kg and over 100cm if grown 1 pumpkin per vine. It’s round & has smooth, slightly rough red-orange skin. The bright yellow-orange flesh is excellent in pies. Its size makes it a standout for Halloween carving & shows. Matures in 110–120 days. Needs space! 10 seeds.
Sowing Instructions
Sow direct when soil warm enough and threat of frosts has passed. Early plants(*) can be started indoors to make most of short summers. Regular watering and compost will ensure a good harvest & huge fruit. Prune to 1 pumpkin per plant for the largest possible.
