Sow in trays to transplant later or sow direct. Transplant to a weed-free bed. Harvest when leaves turn yellow and cure the bulbs by hanging in a dry spot with good ventilation. Echalion store for 6-8 months. Does not like wet ground, so raise beds and do not add too much manure/compost.
