Pea - Snow ‘Golden’
Pisum sativum var. arvense
An unusual heirloom snow pea, originally from India. A high yielding snow pea with yellow pods and striking bi-coloured plum and pink flowers. The pods are crisp and tasty, they can be eaten fresh and raw in salads or with dips or added to stir fries. Beast eaten young before the peas inside the pod fully form. As it is a strong climber (up to 200cm) it will need a trellis. Prefers well-drained, limy soil. 20 seeds.
