TOMATO ‘Black Prince’
Lycopersicon esculentum
Introducing a royal treat for your garden & table! This heirloom variety boasts a dramatic, deep-hued skin that hints at its rich, complex flavour. The skin starts dark and ripens to mahogany. With a delightful balance of sweetness and subtle tang, the Black Prince elevates any dish, from fresh salads to gourmet pasta dishes. Handles cooler climates well. A medium sized tomato on an indeterminate vine. 50 seeds.
Sowing Instructions
In cool areas start indoors 6 weeks before last frost (*). Keep warm & moist. Transplant to a warm, sheltered position when frosts have passed. Feed young plants liquid fertiliser high in potash. Nitrogen fertilisers encourage leaf growth at the expense of fruit.
