Brassica rapa
A popular heirloom dating back to the late 1800’s. Smooth, round roots with bright purple shoulders and a white bottom. Roots grows to 15cm, but tastiest when roots are 6-10cm in diameter. The roots have a sweet, firm, white flesh that can be eaten in soups, stews or baked. This variety has large lobed leafy greens that can also be eaten. 400 seeds.
