YELLOW CORNFLOWER
Centaurea orientalis
This long-blooming, perennial cottage plant produces bright yellow, feathery flowers in summer and autumn. Grows well in most soil types and climates in full sun or part shade. Either the flower or seed capsule makes a beautiful addition to any cut arrangement. Frost hardy and drought tolerant, regular deadheading will keep it neater and prolong flower period. Prune back in late-summer to maintain a compact habit. 15 seeds.
